Yes! Free camping is definitely possible in Australia and New Zealand, but it is important to know that it is not permitted just anywhere.

There are numerous designated areas throughout both countries where camping is either free or very affordable, including some truly amazing spots. If you see ‘instant confirmation’ on the vehicle you would like to book, this means the vehicle is ready now. You can make your booking knowing that you will receive confirmation within 10 minutes.

If you see ‘on request’ for the vehicle you would like to book, you will not be charged while we check and make sure the vehicle is available. It is likely this vehicle is the last one, so may not be available to book.
